What's a St. Bart's Service Like?

We open our doors to all who seek God

Our rich liturgical tradition includes the use of vestments, music, and candles.

While we fall on the “high church” end liturgically, neither the facilities nor the people are formal. One is more likely to see casual clothes at Sunday services than suits and ties. The depth of our spiritual experience cannot be measured by our casual appearance. We invite you to visit us anytime to share this experience.

DISCOVER MORE

We believe that when we celebrate the Eucharist, Jesus is present with us.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Current Notable Events

  • All In-Person Services and Meetings Canceled Sat-Sun, January 24-25

In abundance of caution, our Senior Warden John Carter and Priest-in-Charge Hazel Glover+ have made the call to cancel all in-person meetings and services for this weekend, Sat-Sun January 24 and 25.

The Annual Meeting is rescheduled for Sunday, February 1 with one combined service at 10:30 AM - no other services on February 1 - followed by continental breakfast and then the Annual Meeting.

This Sunday you are invited to join the clergy for an online worship service at 10:30 AM on YouTube. Your clergy got together earlier this week and pre-recorded the entire service. In that recording, there is a great sermon from Mark+.

Join us for this Sunday's worship service online here.

  • SUNDAY JAN 25th: Religious Life Sunday

** The Episcopal Church observes Religious Life Sunday on the 3rd Sunday of Epiphany. This observance focuses our efforts to tell all Episcopalians and Anglicans about our monastic and Christian Communities. Are you longing for spiritual companionship and for resources to help on your spiritual journey? Are you seeking to deepen your relationship with God and to center your life on Christ? 6:15 PM dinner. Join us! Meet new and old friends at St. Bart’s! Foyers is not an acronym, but it IS a great opportunity to meet and socialize with new and old friends within our church once each month. We will have a pot-luck dinner at someone’s home, attend an event, or have some other social event that will be fun for all. Look for a table with sign-up sheets and more info in the Parish Hall in January or sign-up online at the link below. Questions? Contact Yinka Kerr at (404) 273-3145 or yinkakerr@hotmail.com; Linda Dacey-Caban at (404) 408-8892 or roligi@comcast.net.

  • SATURDAY FEB 21st: Concert at 7:30 PM

Hosted by our neighbors at Congregation Bet Haverim (CBH; 2074 Lavista Road, Atlanta, GA 30329) in partnership with Interfaith Atlanta. Join CBH for this special weekend of music, connection, and shared spirit with music that resonates deeply across faith traditions and brings people together in powerful and meaningful ways. • Donations: Flowers and/or Music

Please consider donating to our amazing Flower Guild and/or Music Program in support of their efforts to bring beauty and joy to our space during the Christmas season.  Gifts may be given in thanksgiving or in memory of someone via Realm or by completing the forms found in the inner narthex.

  • Offering: Flower Delivery

    Please donate small vases!

The flower delivery guild reaches out to parishioners who cannot attend church with a vase of flowers and a visit. This important ministry needs your help. We are almost out of small vases! The vases need to be small but have a wide enough opening for several stems, clean and clear glass. Please place your contribution outside of the sacristy door.

  • Offering: The Stewardship Tree Has Sprouted!

We’re excited to invite you to take part in a living expression of our shared faith, gifts, and service.

The Stewardship Tree is an interactive display that grows leaf by leaf as we name the many ways we give of ourselves to our church and the world.

Each leaf represents a beloved member of our community and the unique ways they offer their time, energy, and care.

    Here’s how it works:

Simply write your name on one side of a leaf and list the ministries, activities, or acts of service you’re part of on the other.

As the weeks go by, our tree will grow with the richness of our collective offerings. Whether you serve on a ministry, bring snacks for coffee hour, volunteer at the food bank, offer prayers at home, or even bring your compost to the garden—every act of love counts. Let’s fill the branches

with gratitude, presence, and joy. Every leaf is a testament to how we embody the heart of St. Bart’s.

    Come add your leaf!
